![]() ![]() ![]() I did see a post on this forum once where someone said normal width sights fit on their slimline Glock just barely without overhanging, but can’t verify that myself. If all this is wrong and you truly want full cowitness, one of the only options I ever saw is Suarez, again as has already been mentioned. I went with green fiber optic and blacked out rear, which for me is enough contrast to separate clearly from the red dot, but I’ve seen others frequently choose full black out as the other poster mentioned. I also agree that you probably want sights that don’t blend in and confuse your eye against the red dot. I think most people actually prefer this because it reduces the visual clutter under normal circumstances, but leaves the traditional sights available truly as a backup, if/as needed. I got Ameriglo fiber optics to go with my Glock 48 + Holosun 507k and can confirm this worked, basically if I find a target via the red dot I can see the top of my front sight below it (it’s like a dotted “i”), and if I adjust my eyesight down without moving the barrel I will acquire the exact same target through the iron sights lower down near the bottom of the optic glass. Do you know the difference between 1/3 and absolute cowitness? The reason I ask is if you don’t actually want to see the sights and red dot perfectly aligned at all times (absolute cowitness), which most people don’t, then you’re in luck because these small/slimline optics (Sig Zero, Shield RMSc, Holosun 507k) are designed to 1/3 cowitness with regular sized sights. I was trying to sort this out recently too. ![]()
